Some of Stewart’s most valuable traits as C&D Services CEO are his abilities to lead both internally and externally, his ability to build and encourage highly motivated sales and management teams. He is also an assertive manager with outstanding interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and people management skills. 

In addition to his responsibilities at C&D Services, he is currently Vice President of End User Sales for the Americas at Flowserve Corporation. He is a crucial part of the Flowserve leadership team, with 30+ years of in-depth experience in sales, customer service, marketing, training, operational experience, development, and implementation of alliance agreements, as well as sales and general management experience with a proven ability to manage P&L goals. Develops annual sales plan in support of organization strategy and objectives for 1.4 billion dollars in overall sales in North and Latin America. 

Stewart maintains and directs the implementation and execution of sales policies and practices for over 200 employees. As well as ensuring communications are coordinated, sales plan objectives are fully supported and meeting the organizational expenditure requirements in conjunction with VP of marketing. 

Some of his other professional skills and valuable traits include building, developing and managing a 600+ employee team capable of carrying out needed sales, customer and service initiatives while also managing multiple channel selling strategies. 

Stewart earned his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Lamar University in 1985. He brings both excellent legal and risk management negotiation skills both internally and externally. He is an award-winning sales leader with a 30-year portfolio of success significantly enhancing bottom line profits and a history of setting company-wide sales and customer satisfaction records. 

Stewart brings the above skills and experience to his position as CEO for C&D Services to lead our company in the direction we need in order to grow and be successful in all of our endeavors.

With a rich history dating back to 1920, the legacy and inspiration behind C&D Services run deep in Kendell's family. As a fourth-generation contractor, she has been steeped in the traditions of engineering and entrepreneurship from a young age. Her upbringing instilled in her the core values of hard work and the relentless pursuit of excellence in every endeavor. 

Accompanying her father to work as a young girl was more than just quality time spent together; it was an opportunity for Kendell to witness the art of construction unfold before her eyes. From the foundation to the finishing touches, she developed a passion for seeing projects come to life and transform the world around her. 

At the heart of Kendell's vision for C&D Services is a commitment to ensuring every client's satisfaction. She aims for each project to not only meet but exceed expectations, incorporating the client's vision and feedback every step of the way. Accessibility, authenticity, safety, and professionalism are the pillars on which C&D Services stands, ensuring a positive experience for all involved. 

Community engagement holds a special place in Kendell's heart, and she actively encourages her team to give back to local charities and programs. C&D Services proudly supports various non-profit organizations, schools, and sports programs, reflecting their dedication to making a difference beyond the construction site.

Partner – CHRO 

Dr. Sherri Shoefstall was an Instructor in the Department of Psychology at Lamar University (until May 2021 retirement). 

Prior to joining the Lamar faculty, Dr. Shoefstall taught on the faulty of several elementary schools in the Beaumont area as both a regular/general classroom teacher from 1985-1991.  

Dr. Shoefstall also owned a local tutoring center-Future Prep Learning Center from 1992-1995.  

Dr. Shoefstall formerly worked as Director of Student Support Services, which was a grant funded program at Lamar University designed to help first generation students succeed in college from 2005-2007. She later became Director for Student Advising and Retention Services, which was a combination of new programs aimed at helping students succeed in college for Lamar University from 2007-2015. In this position she wrote many grants aimed at helping first generation, low income and minority students succeed in college. Most of the grants were awarded and she was responsible for implementation as well as fiscal responsibility and oversight of the allocated funds.  She was also adjunct faculty at Lamar University for the Psychology Department since 2010 and moved to full-time faculty in 2016-2021.  

Dr. Shoefstall has published an article in the following international peer-reviewed journal: Mentoring and Tutoring.  

She has made numerous conference presentations for the National Academic Advising Association, National Learning Communities Association, and the College Reading and Learning Association. She has served as a reader for the National Academic Advising Association.  

Dr. Shoefstall received her Baccalaureate degree in Elementary Education from Lamar University, with a Reading specialization and Kindergarten Certification. She later obtained her Master’s degree in Community Psychology and has also earned a Doctoral degree in Educational Leadership with a focus on Multiculturalism and Diversity from Lamar University.   

She is a member of Leadership Southeast Texas, Psi Chi Honor Society, National Academic Advising Association, Council for Opportunity in Education, Texas Psychological Association, and is a proud Lamar Alumni.  

Dr. Shoefstall’s primary strengths are project research, grant writing, understanding implementation goals, supervision of staff, project management, understanding and working with diverse groups, creating a positive work environment, teaching, creating curriculum, and fiscal responsibilities.

Trent Shoefstall is a seasoned professional with a diverse background in engineering, construction, and project management. Since 2012, he has been the owner of T & S Lawn Care & Double One Construction, where he has successfully overseen a wide range of construction projects. Trent's meticulous attention to detail, strategic planning, and leadership skills have been instrumental in delivering high-quality results and ensuring client satisfaction here at C&D Services. 

In addition to his role in construction, Trent has a wealth of experience in engineering, specifically in the field of rotating equipment projects. From his tenure as a Field Engineer and Regional Rotating Equipment Quality Supervisor for major clients such as Air Products, Lime Tree Bay, and Shell Deer Park, he has demonstrated a strong technical acumen and a commitment to excellence in every project he undertakes. 

Trent's professional journey also includes a significant role as an Application Engineer Manager with Flowserve, where he provided technical leadership, strategic guidance, and mentorship to on-site Application Engineers. His ability to drive growth opportunities, implement best practices, and foster strong client relationships has made him a valuable asset in the industry. 

With a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Lamar University and certifications in ASNT Level II in VT and PT, as well as API-SIRE, Trent's expertise is backed by a solid educational foundation and a commitment to ongoing learning and development. His research grant on pump efficiency showcases his dedication to advancing engineering knowledge and finding innovative solutions to complex challenges. 

Trent's leadership skills, proficiency in project management, and technical expertise make him a respected professional in the field. Whether overseeing construction projects, managing rotating equipment initiatives, or leading engineering teams, Trent's commitment to excellence and client satisfaction is evident in every aspect of his work.

Jenna Shoefstall is a dedicated professional in charge of safety programs and education at C&D Services. With a strong background in employee education and a commitment to promoting a culture of safety excellence, Jenna plays a vital role in ensuring the well-being of employees and compliance with industry regulations.

Jenna's expertise extends beyond the confines of C&D Services, as she has conducted educational seminars for leading companies nationwide, sharing her knowledge and best practices. Her passion for safety education and commitment to staying updated on the latest industry trends make her a trusted expert in the field. 

At C&D Services, Jenna leads the charge in developing and implementing safety programs that prioritize the well-being of employees and the success of construction projects. Her proactive approach to risk management, compliance, and safety training sets a high standard for the company and the industry as a whole.
